Stating the Harm

It occurred to us that a blog would be an efficient way to keep people up to date on efforts to bring some justice to Gulf Coast families and the effort to get homes and communities rebuilt. We’ve learned in the past couple years how powerful a tool a blog can be. We saw firsthand how quick the insurance industry was to find surrogates who were willing to do their bidding. Some bloggers readily admit they are doing this for marketing purposes and have glommed on to this high profile litigation to gain exposure .On Gulf Coast Hurricane Katrina issues there are insurance blogs written by lawyers that work for the insurance industry, there are pro-business blogs, local blogs by folks who prefer one side of what happened to the other and so on. We plan to include links to the right of this blog with some of them and our view of their strategy. Our strategy is clear; we represent hundreds of people who were cheated by their insurer through a pattern of fraud, manipulation of storm data and other schemes. Our purpose is to keep our clients – and anybody else who wants to take the time- informed of what is going on between dissatisfied policy-holders who felt cheated by their insurer after Katrina and the insurance industry.
